Kumo
Kumo requires that a client be deployed to every lab machine or virtual app server. The Kumo client is launched on a per-user basis as the user logs in and silently manages user authentication and storage configuration in the background over the course of the session. This document outlines the Windows configuration necessary to properly launch the Kumo client on user login and optimize Windows’ interaction with on-premises storage.
Faculty and staff of the University of Maryland College Park (UMD) only. Software can be installed on machines that are owned by the individual and must be used for work-related purposes only. Software must be uninstalled by the individual after they leave the University.
