MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive environment that enables you to perform computationally intensive tasks faster than with traditional programming languages such as C, C++, and Fortran.
The University of Maryland has a campus-wide license that provides access to MATLAB, Simulink, and a variety of add-on products. All faculty, researchers, and students can use MATLAB on their personal computers and laptops.
Standalone license
- Found under Access for Everyone. Log into TERPware to get the UMD MATLAB portal link and instructions.
- User will be prompted to verify university account upon license expiration.
Concurrent server access
- Meant for labs and multi-user machines
- Log into TERPware to get the MATLAB ISO Image and instructions
- Download the network.lic file
- Download the instruction document
- Download the MATLAB ISO Image
- Must have ISO Image to use network license
- Must have network access to connect to the FlexLM server
